How coaching works

Individual attention from the start.
Support as you progress.

Your coaching evolves as your abilities grow. We begin with focused individual instruction and help you take greater ownership of your training—with a coach there to guide you.

01 / Understand

Find your
starting point.

The 90-minute Flexibility & Movement Audit starts with your goals, movement history and daily routines. We assess movement joint by joint, looking beyond the area that brought you in, then explain the findings, their relevance to training and how daily habits may influence your movement.

At the end, we discuss your findings in person. If our coaching is a good fit for your needs, we recommend a longer-term program and explain the approach, commitment, and cost—with time for your questions.

Your written report follows within 3–5 business days. Ongoing coaching and programming are separate from the audit, and continuing is your choice.

02 / Learn

Build the foundations
with individual coaching.

Early in your program, we prioritise one-on-one sessions. This gives us time to teach movement mechanics, explore what you feel, and adapt the coaching to how you learn.

A common starting point is two private sessions and one small-group session each week. Private sessions provide focused instruction; small-group sessions give you an opportunity to practise with support.

There is no fixed number of sessions before you progress. We consider your confidence, movement control, and ability to apply what you’ve learned.

03 / Build

Take ownership.
Keep the support.

As you become more capable and confident, the balance shifts toward small-group coaching.

Each session has a maximum of four people, each following their own personalised program. Your coach remains on the floor to provide feedback, answer questions, and help you adjust.

Private sessions continue at a frequency appropriate to your needs, providing time for more detailed coaching.

04 / Progress

Review, retest,
and keep developing.

Your program changes as you do. Personal one-on-one check-ins and retesting help us review progress, revisit priorities, and guide the next stage of training.

With TrainHeroic, you can follow your program, review exercise videos and coaching cues, record workouts, and track your progress between sessions.

Your longer-term
program includes

  • One-on-one personal movement coaching
  • Personalised small-group coaching · maximum four people
  • Tailored programming designed by a movement specialist
  • TrainHeroic access for programs, videos, cues, and tracking
  • Personal one-on-one check-ins
  • Retesting to guide progression

You bring the willingness.
We bring the guidance.

You can start feeling discouraged or unsure. What matters is being willing to learn, practise, and give the process a fair chance.

An open mind

Be curious about new ideas and willing to explore a different approach. Questions are welcome—you should understand why we’re asking you to do something.

Consistency

Attend regularly and practise what you’re learning. We’ll help you find a rhythm that fits your life, but progress needs your participation.

Patience

Some changes may come quickly; others take repeated practice. We’re building abilities you can keep using, and the pace will be individual.

Practice between sessions

Be willing to spend 15–20 minutes on targeted at-home work between coaching sessions. These exercises reinforce what we cover together and help you put new skills into practice.

In return, you can expect clear explanations, individual attention, and adjustments when something isn’t working. We’ll help you understand your priorities and recognise progress along the way.

A few good questions

Before you
take the first step.

Do I need to be in pain to come in?

No. You can start with a goal to move better, build strength, or support the activities you already enjoy.

Does this replace physiotherapy or chiropractic care?

No. Bridge provides movement and strength coaching; medical assessment and treatment remain with your health professionals. Our role is to help you understand your movement, build strength and progress with training over time.

What do I leave with?

A better understanding of your movement, next steps to work on, and a written report delivered within 3–5 business days.

What happens after my audit?

We discuss your findings in person at the end of the audit. If we believe our coaching fits your needs, we explain a recommended longer-term program, its commitment, and cost. You decide whether to continue. Your written report follows within 3–5 business days; ongoing coaching and programming are separate.

Is small-group coaching a group workout?

Each person follows their own personalised program, with a maximum of four participants. A coach is always on the floor to help with technique, questions, and adjustments.

When do I move from private to small-group coaching?

We adjust the balance as your confidence, movement control, and independence develop. There is no fixed graduation date. Private sessions continue at a frequency appropriate to your needs.
